Product Description 

White Isophthalic brushing polyester gelcoat (standard viscosity)

High Grade UV stabilised.  

Product use 

General-purpose, high-quality moulding gelcoat for hand lay-up in GRP work. 

Characteristics 

For brush application free from air and drainage, with excellent opacity & whiteness. 

The product exhibits excellent weathering properties and water resistance. 

Application 

Should be used in workshop temperatures. 

Between 16 - 23°C and requires the addition of 2% 

medium activity MEKP for a sufficient cure. 

For best results, the gelcoat should be applied to a clean, 

polished mould in one even layer 400 – 500 microns (0.4 – 0.5 mm thickness)

Liquid Gelcoat properties

Appearance White, opaque air free Liquid. 

Liquid Properties Thixotropic 

Gel time < 15 minutes.

Cure time < 90 minutes.
